We agree 100% and suggest that preschool, primary, general, and even higher education institutions more often move their regular activities outside - to semi-open, full of light, spacious, and comfortable garden buildings - glasshouses. These multifunctional outdoor structures give more fun (and in the social distancing period - safety) to learn, play, communicate, create, and eat outdoors, even when it's raining or snowflakes are falling! The lessons moved outside help children to connect with nature and make the outdoors a regular part of their life.
We invite public sector institutions, business, or non-governmental organizations to make wider use of their outdoor spaces (courtyard, terrace, playground, or garden) by installing functional and attractive outdoor rooms.
Outdoor classrooms produced by UAB "Gardenis" are gaining more and more popularity every year. During DESIGN WEEK 2016, the Vilnius Art Academy, Department of Design presented a new gallery dedicated to design - "Design Greenhouse". This place invites young creators and students to present their creative searches, new works, and share ideas. It is a small greenhouse for growing large design works or ideas. The axis of this exhibition are the design objects that make you think - you can't stand, you can't sit (choose where you will place the comma).
